Nivedita, a native of Pune (India), began her journey Kathak dance at the tender age of 8, under the tutelage of Guru Mulla Jafar Khan of the illustrious Banaras gharana. With years of arduous training from her Guru, she joined Maneesha Nrityalaya in Pune. Presently, she is a devoted disciple of Guru Pt. Rajendra Gangani from Delhi, who is renowned for his mastery of the Jaipur gharana.

Nivedita has also achieved certification in the Chaau dance (Mayurbhanj style) from the prestigious Sreeram Bharati Kala Kendra in Delhi. Moreover, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from SNDT University in Pune and her Visharad in Kathak dance from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in Miraj. She has further acquired certification in Special Needs education from The School of Positive Psychology in Singapore and Art therapy from NAFA in Singapore.
